Dear Community Partner,
We are reaching out to you on behalf of the Downingtown East Baseball Booster Club. We are a parent-run group supporting the needs of the Downingtown East High School Baseball Program including the 9th Grade, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams. Our organization raises crucial funds to support the team in the areas of player development, equipment needs, and facilities maintenance. We strive to support the coaching staff in providing the players with a comprehensive baseball program that fosters team development, sportsmanship, and competitive play. Our goal is to continue this tradition so that we may best assist the Downingtown East Baseball Team – one of the premier programs in the competitive Ches-Mont League.
More specifically, our fundraising supports player development including pre-season training and indoor facilities usage. We also subsidize team financial commitments for players whom may be unable to do so due to hardship. We provide needed equipment ranging in nature from pitching machines to player gear to small building projects. We supplement the needs of the coaching staff. We also provide our players and coaches with important team building events such as team dinners and group outings. We believe all of this contributes to a highly successful program that not only develops excellent players but also outstanding community members.
With sponsor support, here are examples of what we provided this past year:
- Gear packages provided to all players – sweatshirt, sweatpants, shorts, and t-shirt
- iPad provided to coaching staff (used during game for reporting stats)
- Numerous team dinners, including a Wing Night – no cost to our players
- Media/Kickoff Day – full lunch, team/individual photos – no cost to our players
- Senior Night including senior banners, flowers for parents, and a dinner for all seniors and families
- Customized backpacks provided to all underclassmen and commemorative bats provided to seniors
- End of Season Banquet – no cost to our players or their families!
We invite you to partner with us in supporting the Downingtown East Baseball Program. Our program will not succeed without your invaluable support. There are many ways to get involved including both financial contributions and in-kind donations of goods and/or services. We have included our 2023-24 Community Sponsorship Levels of Giving for your review. As you review that, you will see that Grand Slam, Home Run, and Triple Level Sponsors’ logo/name appear on the back of our training t-shirts. These t-shirts are given to all players. They are frequently worn and spotted in our community. This is a high visibility sponsorship opportunity! The deadline to be included on the t-shirt is December 22, 2023.

IN KIND DONATION OF SERVICES OR GOODS – valuation to be mutually agreed upon between sponsor and Downingtown East High School Baseball Booster Club. After valuation, sponsor’s donation shall be appropriately categorized under one of the above Levels of Giving with accompanying sponsor recognitions.
